Who’s
Trouble? by:
Sue ©8/2004 I
was new to the area and it was taking a little while for me to get my bearings.
I like easing myself in gradually taking my time to get acquainted, asking
around about shops, restaurants, bars and things.
One place kept cropping up in the conversations, the pub at the end of
the road. It seemed to attract a lot of local gossip.
Not so much the pub itself but its regulars. They seemed to be a
particularly unusual bunch. I passed by a few times, wondering what would happen
if I just went in and said hi – or was it one of those places that you needed
to be invited to get in? With
everything I’d heard about it I’d kept my eye on the place, it was certainly
the liveliest place the area. It
took me a little while to build up my courage but finally I took a deep breath
and went in. I almost wept with
laughter, would you believe that after all that the place was deserted!
Taking the opportunity presented I had a sneak look around.
The notice board told me what had happened; everyone was off on a trip to
Hawaii. “Nice one, Sue.
Perfect timing as always,” I muttered under my breath.
I took note of who was going with whom; being new it seemed like a good
idea not to offend anyone straight away – there’d plenty of time for that
later. Now
my nerves had settled a quick trip to the Ladies was in order.
I was washing my hands when I spotted it.
Over in the corner, it was best described as graffiti – if somewhat
elegantly done. Some of the notes
made me giggle; some made me decide to give a wide berth to a few regulars.
Here and there, there were some cell numbers and names – had some of
the guys walked in and left their calling cards?
Cheeky sods, but I couldn’t help smile at the idea.
I had no idea what had possessed me when I made a mental note of a couple
that particularly caught my eye. There
was still no one around in the bar and the place was starting to feel a bit
creepy in that way old buildings have when they are empty, and some of the
creaks and groans were making me feel a bit nervous.
Maybe there was someone around after all! I
went home with a sigh, deciding to come back the following week when everyone
was due home. My appetite to meet these people had been whetted! Later
I sat bored and restless watching TV. Maybe it was the bottle of wine at my
elbow that gave me the Dutch courage to do it for I pulled out my phone and sent
a text to one of the numbers I’d memorised, the one with the cheekiest
comment. Hi
Colin, looks like you didn’t get a date for Hawaii. Give
me a shout when you get back and I’ll buy you a drink or two.
Sue I
was horrified as soon as I’d pressed send but I never really expected a reply
– he didn’t have a clue who I was - so you can imagine how surprised I was
when the phone buzzed a little later. You
looking out for me, Sue? No, I
didn’t get an official date for the holiday, but...kept myself busy, ya know?
When I get back - you got it. But
the drinks are on me. Only fair. You
being a lady and all... I
smiled and wondered how long he’d continue to answer. But I decided to go for
it anyway: I’m
sure you kept yourself well entertained. I'll
remind you about that drink or two soon enough, but tell me, who told you I was
a lady? His
reply came whizzing back: Surely you’re not ‘The Boy Named Sue’? His
answer made me laugh as I glanced in the mirror.
Green eyes, auburn hair and a body that was definitely not a boys. No,
Colin. Not a boy. Definitely ‘The Girl named Sue’ I thought. I returned his
text: Funny
man... I’ll let you work that one out on your own. And
then I winced at my own forwardness. That
was a bit too obvious to a bloke I’ve never even met, even for me. Whatever,
it certainly seemed to fire his interest as the phone beeped again and this
message came scrolling down: Sue,
that’s one I’m going to enjoy working out on my own.
You know I'm pretty hot on body work? Might
have to look under the hood though... just to be sure. Wouldn’t
like to make a mistake now, would we? That
made me laugh the cheeky bugger! But,
I suppose I deserved it. I did
rather like his style. Funny and a bit of a lad, but not too crude. Good
start, Colin, whoever you are! So I
tapped a message back: Well,
you aren’t backward in coming forward, that’s for certain, but I’ve heard
you’re good with your hands so... if you make a good job on the body work we
can discuss you checking out under the hood. Colin
seemed like fun and I’d enjoyed playing on the phone, so by the time I went to
bed I was really looking forward to meeting him in the flesh the following week.
I wondered if he would be as tasty as he sounded?
I really hoped so; my life needed livening up a bit. ~~~ I
was nervous as I got ready to go down to the pub that first night.
I checked out my reflection for the hundredth time, still unsure.
Was my dress too short? Was
my hair ok? Not too much make up?
In the end I grabbed my keys and left while I still had the courage to
go. If I thought about it much more
I would probably chicken out. When
I arrived, the pub was quiet so I took a seat at the bar and said hi to Jen, who
appeared to be the landlady. I
didn’t mention what had made me call in that night but I got the impression
that she had a shrewd idea. She had
a sort of knowing look on her face and grinned when I tentatively asked about
Colin. I couldn’t help furtively
checking out the door but still managed to miss him when he came in. “Well,
if it isn’t the girl named Sue! This
calls for a drink. Pleased to meet
you in person at last, luv. What’ll
it be? I almost spilled my drink in
shock at the sound of this deep Australian drawl.
Spinning round on my stool I saw Colin himself for the first time.
Oh, man! How many times does
that happen in life? That the blind
date turns out to be the most incredible hunk you have met in a month of
Sundays? Thank god I kept my mouth
closed; I could’ve flooded the place with drool. I
never gave a thought as to how he knew who I was; I was too busy not jumping off
the barstool when he surprised me, just turning up like that seemingly knowing
exactly what he was looking for. But
I attempted to cover my confusion with some conversation. “Well
hi there. So you’re Colin, are
you? I was beginning to wonder when
you’d all get back. A glass of
white wine will be fine; best keep a reasonably clear head.
Wanna come and sit down and tell me about your trip,” I spluttered out,
trying not to make a prat of myself, not sure I was succeeding. “Well,
there was this Hawaiian girl...no, on second thoughts, perhaps not. Some
made tit’s of themselves but what’s new, hey? I
got a tan. Went snorkeling.
Rode a horse. That’s about
it. Still
feeling a little nervous especially at his proximity as he pressed his thigh
against my leg and leaned on in rather closer than my comfort zone, I hardly
knew the guy, he certainly didn’t hang around.
I couldn’t stop myself babbling and was cursing inside as my mouth ran
on and on. “Well that’s got to
be the quickest summary of a week away ever, smart move to miss out about the
girls though. And about that tan.
Hmm, no, maybe, you better hold off showing me that until when we know
each other a little better. Me?
Oh I’m not very interesting at all.
Just your normal quiet English girl.
Stays at home, never says boo to a goose.
Now why look like that? Don't
believe me, eh? Well ask... um…
second thoughts maybe not…” He
had given me this wry look of amusement as he drank deeply from his pint.
But he didn’t say anything. So,
of course, to fill in the awkward silence, I rambled on some more: “So
I wander around a bit, but I could get to like it here.
And if anyone says I'm trouble you just ignore them…
Have you got your photos with you? I'd
like to see some of them.” I
shook myself, mentally screaming to get a grip, as my mouth ran on.
Colin seemed amused by my babbling tirade, smirking to himself and, as he
seemed to like what he saw, he must have decided to press his luck. “Actually,
I left them back at my place...” He
said with his tongue resting on his lower lip, and his eyes flashing almost
challengingly. “…You could
always come and have a gander at them there...So, you’re a Pom, hey?
I won’t hold it against you, love.
Known a few nice Pom women - gotta be fair, they have to put up with
their men, don’t they? They
deserve a medal for that - and a bit of TLC from an Aussie boy to make up for
it....you’re not trouble, then? I
was kind hoping you were...” His
come on put me on much more familiar ground now.
He was obviously interested and I had to admit he was pretty cute, so I
began to relax and encourage him a little. Not
that he needed much encouragement! “Left
them at your place? Hmm...
bit like come and look at my etchings, is that?
Well maybe later, when no one will notice us slip out.”
I took a sip of my wine and gave him my wide eyed look over the rim of
the glass. I could see him adjust in
his seat and suppressed my smile. I
was reeling him in now. “You know
there’s nothing wrong with English guys, but then maybe I need a comparison to
judge properly?” I put out a hand
and rested it lightly on his knee, massaging softly in an ever increasing
circle, creeping along the inside seam of his left thigh.
All the while, I weighed him up, his manly square jawed face, the light
greeny-blues eyes, prominent nose, thick brown hair and those long sides on a
face already showing the signs of stubble; I could almost imagine how it’d
feel against my skin. Testosterone
overload here. “So you like
trouble do you? Maybe you and I can
get along just fine. I admit I have,
only on occasion, been known to get into a little trouble…”
I let my tongue lick my lips ever so slightly but the motion was not
missed. His nostrils flared and he
cleared his throat. I could almost
smell the pheromones in the air emanating from us both, the whole pub probably
could! I
don’t think that there was much doubt that Colin knew I was going to say yes
eventually, so he moved closer, his arm going around the back of the seat,
hovering just above my shoulders. “Would
I try to entice you back to my room? I
might. But only if you’re going to
get me into trouble, love.” He
said the last sentence really low, dipping his mouth to my ear and breathing it
out, his hot breath against my skin making me gasp. Feigning
shock and trying to ignore the shiver that ran down my spine as his fingers
stroked the back of my neck. I
whispered back at him. “Now how
can I promise to get you in trouble? What
a reputation that would get me - but let’s think... how about it’s fairly
certain anyone who hangs around with me a while ends up in some trouble?” He
made a low rumble in his throat and rubbed his nose softly down my cheek as he
muttered: “Looks
like trouble’s a given then. You
know me and trouble. I just let it
happen. Then I do something.
Usually make it worse. Sound’s
like we’re a pair then?” He
licked the lobe of my ear sensuously and then drew back, leaving me breathless
and in a compete puddle. ‘Nother
drink or you ready to see my snaps?” He
grinned knowingly, his hand now running up and down my back. “I
think you’re right we are a pair.” I
stopped and took a drink carefully checking out that no one appeared to be
watching us. The place was filling
up but everyone seemed to be involved in their own conversations and no one was
taking any notice of us. “You know
it’s starting to get busy in here, I hate packed pubs. So
yeah. Let’s take a walk and go see
your snaps.” He
moaned softly in my ear at that. “Now
you’re talking. But don’t let
everyone know we’re slipping out. They’ll
never let you live it down. Unless
you want to boast about it? I reckon
it’ll be quite a story.” I guess
it was pretty clear from then on where we were heading. I
wasn’t complaining. I think it was
what we both wanted – and needed. I
stood up and pulled him with me. “Well
we can always slip out the back door - no one will notice. Quite
a story? Aiming to be memorable are
you... well, you never know maybe it’ll be quite a story for both of us….” I
giggled as he handed me his keys, pointing out his car as I
crept out of the back door hoping I wasn’t noticed, while Colin went
for a couple of bottles to take out. He
drove the short journey back to his apartment in silence, both of us feeling a
little awkward now we were alone. Were
we really doing this? I hadn’t
even kissed the bloke yet! Talking
about jumping in at the deep end. “Here
we are, luv,” he said, as he indicated the building just over the road, “but
best we go round the back.” “Round
the back? How come?” It
seemed an odd way to enter his own flat. “Well
we wouldn’t want to wake the neighbours, would we?” He replied. “Colin,
it’s not that late.” I looked at my watch; it was barely nine. “Alright,
I lost my front door key,” He held up his hands as if he had been found out,
grinning like a school boy. I giggled and pushed him forward; anything to get my
hands on that solid body of his. “Okay,
show me the way!” He
took me indoors and up the back stairs telling me to be quiet every time I
giggled. When we reached his door he
held the keys carefully and pushed me inside as soon as the door opened.
“Oh my god! You weren’t
expecting visitors then?” I gasped. The
place looked as though he’d tipped out his suitcase and gone straight to the
pub. And that was only the obvious mess. “Well
you know, I just got home,” he mumbled a little shame faced as he scooped the
clothes off the sofa and threw them in a cupboard.
“So a drink? Beer’s about
all I have.” He waved the bottles in his hand about. “A
beer is fine.” I answered, trying
hard to keep the laughter out of my voice. Handing
me the beer he sat down beside me on the sofa. “So,
love, where were we?” He moved up close and ran his arm around my neck. “You
had something to show me. But was it
your snaps,” I tilted my head teasingly, “or maybe your tan?” He
shook his head. “Actually, I think you were gonna get me I trouble,” he
whispered, as he leant to kiss me. “I
can try…” I was cut off as his
mouth covered mine and I was pressed back against the cushions. He
kissed me slowly giving us both time to enjoy the taste of each other.
Not yet touching anywhere else, his hands just cupping my chin gently.
Then he deepened the kiss drawing my tongue into to his mouth letting me
explore him before he pushed his into mine.
My hands came up, as if to push him away – he tensed slightly, but
relaxed again when instead they stroked up his chest, finding the buttons of his
shirt, undoing them and sliding inside. Oh
god! I’d waited all evening to get
my hands on him and he felt as good as he looked.
Taut muscles moving under firm skin – I was in heaven and wanted more. Easing
back a little he looked at me, searching for signs of refusal, finding none and
pulling me closer, lifting me and easing me down onto the sofa below him.
I giggled as he lay down with me. “You
haven’t got any snaps at all have you?” I moaned as he ran his hands down my
body. “No,
but I can go and get my camera if you want…” he muttered with a dirty
chuckle. “Colin!” He
laughed at my shocked expression and kissed me again, stroking my spine and
pulling at the zip of my dress as I leaned into his kiss.
His hand traced over the soft skin inside, grinning to find, that as
he’d guessed I wasn’t wearing a bra. “No
bra…great…Bloody things always give me no end of trouble…” he grunted
and he brushed his fingers over my nipples. Edging
down he trailed kisses down to the nape of my neck.
When I lifted to him and sighed he used my movement to pull my dress
down, leaving me bare to the waist. “Christ…you
looked as good naked as clothed…” He shrugged off his shirt, my hot skin
against his, as his hands caressed and teased, he gave me the benefit of
thoroughly checking out my body work as promised.
I
could feel his arousal as his body pressed against me; he was hard and it must
have been uncomfortable in his tight jeans. I wrapped my legs over his thighs
bringing him closer to me, rubbing myself against him, my panties already damp,
until with a groan he pulled away. I
hissed in disappointment. Colin
stood hurriedly removing what clothes he had left. My mouth dried, at the sight
of him. He obviously hadn’t worn
much in Hawaii. He was deeply tanned almost all over, the tan making the
intriguing tattoo on his bicep stand out more.
My eyes ran greedily over his body taking in the broad shoulders and
muscled chest, following down the trail of sun-lightened hair to where his cock
stood rock hard and ready. Tearing my eyes off him I laughed and followed his
lead, stripping shamelessly, lying down on the sofa and purring with pleasure as
he laid on me.
“Nice
bodywork, now what about under the hood?”
His smart-arsed comment was spoiled by the shake in his voice when I
reached up and sucked at the hollow of his throat. With
a groan he pushed my thighs wider, slicking his cock in my wetness and then
entering, me pulling him deeper by wrapping my legs around his waist. He
thrust harder, spurred on by my mouth sucking and licking at his neck.
“Harder, Col,” I moaned as he stretched me wide, my nails digging in
until it felt like I’d break the skin of his back.
I started to come, my hips bucking against his; he moved to bury himself
deeper still. As he thrust hard, his knee slipped and we both rolled off the
sofa, crashing to the floor, making me scream as he came, shooting hot and fast
into me. He rolled and pulled me with him to try and break the fall. I
collapsed onto him, both laughing at the unexpected fall despite the wildness of
our orgasm. “That’s what I call
coming with a bang,” he giggled. His lame joke made me laugh even more until
we were both laughing so hard we didn’t hear the first knock on the door. “Open
up O’Brien, I know you’re in there.” A strident angry voice sounded. Colin
froze. “Aw fuck!
C’mon Sue, get dressed …we have to get outta here.” I
gaped at the pair of us, butt naked, boneless and wrapped up in a heap on the
floor. “Colin, what…?” He
rolled me off his body and pulled me to my feet.
“Not NOW. I’ll explain
later - just get dressed.” He was already hopping around trying to thrust his
legs back into his jeans and force his semi-hard damp cock into their denim
prison with a wince. With
an indignant huff I grabbed my things and we both scrabbled to get dressed,
Colin getting more and more agitated as the banging on the door continued. “Ready?
Good, c’mon.” He opened
the window and dropped to the fire escape. “You
have to be kidding me, Colin!” I protested. “No,
c’mon - move it and be quiet.” He
grabbed me and pushed me out of the window, helping me down the fire escape.
“Bloody women, always wearing stupid shoes”, he muttered under his
breath as I staggered, my heels catching in the metal grille. I
didn’t have a chance to retort, as he clasped my hand, pulling me low as we
ran over to his car. He pulled off
without lights as quietly as he could, accelerating quickly as soon as he was
away from the building. I
looked out of the rear window and saw someone come out of the building and
shaking a fist at the car. God what
had I got myself into? Parking
back outside the pub he turned and looked at me sheepishly, fingering the hem of
my dress nervously. My eyebrow was arching with a look that said ‘This better
be good’. “I’m
sorry, Sue. You see I was a bit
short, so… well, I used my rent money for Hawaii.
I can pay it next week when I get my wages.
Look, I’d never have taken you back if I’d thought…”
He tailed off at my stony stare. Then he groaned and banged his head off
the steering wheel, obviously thinking ‘I’ve blown it’. I got the distinct
impression that Colin made a habit of messing up with women by his reaction. I
couldn’t keep it up anymore. He was just so damn sexy and sorry for himself. I
let him carry on for a short while longer until I started to giggle. He looked
at me in surprise. “I
thought I was supposed to get you in trouble?” I teased. “So
you’re not mad at me? I thought you’d kick me out after that little
performance…I’m really sorry…it wasn’t the seduction scene I had in
mind…” “Come
on, I’ll back you a beer while we work out what we are gonna do next…”
Colin began. “I
think I better buy you one, seeing as you are saving up to pay your rent….!”
I grinned and gave him a saucy wink, “…and you can think of a way to make it
up to me.” Neither
of us could stop laughing as we went back into the pub.
